She started out as a hairdresser who was born in Brussels, but the world came to know René Amor when she was featured in the iconic LGBTQ documentary Dressed in Blue, about a group trans sex workers in Madrid in the early 1980s. It was no doubt a difficult decision to participate in the project, as René reportedly admitted that telling her mother about her transition was hard, but we think getting to hear her story and seeing the red-headed beauty’s breasts and butt on the big screen makes it all worth while, and we hope ultimately she does too, especially if it led her to finally living an ordinary life as a woman.
