Half the secret to lasting success is finding your niche, and for lean and lovely blonde Roberta Collins immortality was to be found flashing her private parts in private prisons, dominating the women-in-prison genre of exploitation cinema in the 1970's. Working with her classic blue eyes and fair skin with pinkish highlights, the flighty flesh artist was first locked down in Women in Cages (1971). In those days, mean, vaguely dominatrix adorned wardens sent prisoners to bed without pillows, blankets or pajamas. But Roberta's bobbing boobies held up well under the severe treatment, as proven in a group shower scene. Evidently she complained about some imagined mistreatment and ended up strapped naked to the spokes of a giant wheel spun by Pam Grier. Rehabilitation seems to have come hard to Roberta. Almost immediately, her and her cans were back in the can, although this time it was a prison on a tropical island, in The Big Doll House (1971). Roberta gets her revenge on Grier in this one, beating her up while we beat ourselves off in an aggressive mud wrestling scene, right after rubbing down her rackage in the shower for a peeping guard. After freeing the titties as a free woman in Sweet Kill (1972) and The Roommates (1973), Roberta headed back to the big house and showed her bigums during an uninterested sex scene in Caged Heat (1974). Finally escaping prison flicks, she showed the bush we'd like to shake, boss, in the B movie classic Death Race 2000 (1975). Perhaps Roberta's best known work, she plays neo Nazi racer Matilda the Hun, who gets massaged naked live on TV. Be sure to get a look at her bombs before she gets blown up in the race. After playing Lana in Hardbodies (1984) and Hardbodies 2 (1986), her last role came when she played a, you guessed it, prisoner in Vendetta (1986). Long known as a hard partier to the detriment of her career, Roberta died in 2008 after overdosing on a mixture of drugs and alcohol. It's a shame, nobody was better at creating hard dinks while doing hard time in the clink, of showing off her mammers in the slammer, and of portraying the inmate we want to mate, Roberta Collins!
