The tenacious Texan first took to the stage at age nine and eventually tackled the titular orphan in Annie for a regional production. Sadie made the move to Broadway to play the role of Duffy in the Annie revival of 2012, and followed that up with her first small screen gig in an episode of the acclaimed FX drama The Americans. After popping up on big name shows such as Blue Bloods, Unbreakable Jimmy Schmidt, and Chuck, in 2017 Sadie earned her most famous role to date, - new Hawkins, Indiana’s resident Max Mayfield on the sci-fi phenomenon Stranger Things. She’s made a few big screen appearances as well, in 2017’s The Glass Castle, 2021’ s Fear Street trilogy, and as Brendan Fraser’s teenage daughter in the award-winning drama The Whale in 2022. By then Sadie was all grown up and starting to showcase her sumptuous curves in the lead role of Dear Zoe, about a young woman finding new love while reconnecting with her biological father after suffering a tragic loss.
