Actress Sally Phillips has a long and respected career in UK cinema as the brassy blonde who tells it like it is. The hilarious actress was born in Hong Kong, but since her dad was an executive with British Airways travelled the world as a youngster. Ever the refined Brit, she studied at The College of St. Mary of Winchester in Oxford where she joined the famed comedy troupe The Oxford Revue, before performing a couple of one woman shows. On screen got her start in a bunch of sketch comedy shows, where she played a gaggle of different roles before landing the recurring role of the receptionist Sophie on I'm Alan Partridge in 1997. From there, her career took off with movie roles as Renee Zellweger's BFF Shazza in Bridget Jones' Diary (2001) and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), before taking a long running role as Sal's daughter, Tash Vine on Clatterford. American fans likely know her from, Veep (2013) where she played the difficult to like Finnish politician Minna Hakkinen, though she also did appear on an episode of ABC's Galavant. Sally is clearly a fantastic character actress, as she proved back in 1999 in the TV series Smack The Pony (1999) where she plays various characters including a woman in a tight leather top that shows off some cleavage! In another shot she wears a very low-cut, slinky tank top that lets Mr. Skin peer down her chest. Hopefully, Sally unleashes those puppies in a future role. Maybe she'll play a character who simply can't keep her clothes on!
