Her early credits include the series Murder, She Wrote, Duet, Growing Pains, ABC Weekend Specials, and The New Leave It to Beaver, as well as the movies Taking It Home (1986) and Russkies (1987). She left showbusiness in 1990, but only temporarily, as she returned as an adult in the 1997 movie Arresting Gena.
