Sunny Johnson lived a brief life and had an even briefer career. But fortunately, while she undoubtedly would have gone on to much bigger and better things, she left behind a few skintastic appearances for our viewing pleasure. After making her screen debut on an episode of Charlie's Angels, she had a few scenes cut from her role as Otter's co-ed in Animal House (1978). What a bunch of fools the National Lampoon boys were to leave looks at such a fine slice of poon on the cutting room floor! She took a role in Almost Summer (1979) and did a sexy little white bra dance that had us all kinds of horny in Where the Buffalo Roam (1980), before finding a home as Melody in The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia (1981). Thankfully we got to see her highlights via Sunny's appearance as a nude dancer in the trashy smash Flashdance (1983). What a feeling we got watching her dance topless, and letting some skeevy dude stuff money down the front of her panties. That's what we call the sunny side of life! After landing her first recurring role as Georgia Bouchet on Bay City Blues, Sunny died in 1984 of a ruptured aneurysm while Flashdance was still in theaters, making her premature passing even more tragic. Mindblowingly sexy, Sunny experienced more fame and success than many Hollywood dreamers do by the age of thirty.
