Born in the romantic city of Rome, Italy, Sylva Koscina brings plenty of romance to the screen. When she was still a teen, Sylvia won a beauty contest, which led to modeling work, but she isn't all looks and no brain. Sylva studied physics at the University of Naples. She started her long and storied career with a small part in Are We Men or Corporals (1955). She then went on to appear in over 120 films until her final role in Kim Novak Is on the Phone (1994) shortly before her death. Now that's tenacity! Between those films, Sylva appeared in works such as Casanova & Co. (1977), Hornet's Nest (1970), Kampf um Rom I (1968), and Homo Eroticus (1971), which isn't nearly as pants stiffening as the title might have one think. Her truly eroticus (read: skinful) appearances started popping in Kampf um Rom I (1968), which featured some nice looks at her hippie-era hoots. She went on to show off just about every inch of her hot-assed body in such films as Nel buio del terrore (1971), So Sweet, So Dead (1972), Sette scialli di seta gialla (1972), Sex on the Run (1979), and The House of Exorcism (1974), with George the Chauffeur (as portrayed by the very lucky Gabriele Tinti) putting a squeeze on Sylva's chubby tit during a sex scene. Sylva was definitely hot, but thanks to her lasting legacy of onscreen nudity, she will never have to be missed. Her literal body of work will keep us coming back for more.
