As a kid, Tara Lynne Barr was already establishing a base for her future career as an actress. At the age of 11, she landed guest spots in series like Joan of Arcadia, Crossing Jordan, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and The Bold and Beautiful. Growing up in Orange County, though, she thought it was a pain to keep driving to Los Angeles for gigs, so she set aside the auditions and scripts and decided to finish high school uninterrupted before taking it all up again. As soon as she graduated, she was hired to co-star as Roxy alongside in the film God Bless America (2011), written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait and a nominee for the Audience Award at the SXSW Film Festival, where it premiered; Tara Lynne herself grabbed a nomination for Best Performance at the Young Artists Awards. She’s since gone on to appear on the big screen as Kat in The Darkness (2016) with Kevin Bacon, and as one of Charles Manson’s followers, Katie, in the mini-series Aquarius: The Summer of Love (2015), and its companion series Aquarius. And speaking of TV, as series regular Laura Meyers on Hulu’s Casual, a part she mastered from 2015-2018, she gets sexy in a lot of different episodes, stripping down to her underthings on the regular, and having sizzling moments with both guys and gals. She played the lead character Ginny in the Duplass-brothers produced web series Co-Ed in 2018, and the young version of Janice in AMC’s Dispatches from Elsewhere in 2020.
