This skinternational star was born in Cape Town, South Africa and raised in Durban, attending the Durban Girls College and the University of the Free State to get a degree in psychology before heading to India. In addition to modeling, Tarina learned Hindi in order to become a part of the Bollywood scene, though her first film was the American drama One Night with King in 2006. From there, she appeared in Just Married: Marriage Was Only the Beginning! (2007), Dhol (2007), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Karzzzz 2008), Chase (2010), and Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (2012). Tarina returned to South Africa in the 2010s and transitioned to the role of producer, working on the documentary Mandela’s Gun and the original Netflix film Collision (2022). She earned yet another title - reality star - in 2019 when she joined the cast of the series The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, but then in 2024 Tarina made a surprise return to acting when she was cast in Netflix’s soapy series Blood Legacy.
