Tawny Kitaen was moist fondly remembered as the wife of Whitesnake singer David Coverdale and for being his primary video vixen, climbing all over car hoods and exposing cleavage and G-string-lashed ass. The marriage lasted from 1989 to 1991, and Tawny managed a few non-musical gigs on soaps such as Capitol (1986) and Santa Barbara (1989), as well as hosting the series America's Funniest People (1992). When the hot redhead made her silver-screen debut as the title figure in the kink-o-rama comic-strip-inspired adventure The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (1984), she was obviously cast for her willingness to be naked onscreen. This talent propelled her into an acting career of sorts, with yet more skinful turns: Witchboard (1985), which featured Tawny's thighbrow as she crashed through a shower door; Crystal Heart (1985), which gave us Tawny's naked nips and bum; White Hot (1989), which included some ultra-brief furburger served on tight buns; and Playback (1995), which showed us a lucky guy grabbing one of Tawny's ta-tas. We'll play back that scene again! Of course, she began her career starring opposite Tom Hanks in the hilarious Bachelor Party (1984), but that's not a flick worth discussing -- she only stripped down to a sexy nightgown and a blonde wig. Thankfully, Tawny got that clothing foolishness out of her system early. Speaking of getting things out of one's system, Tawny joined the second season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008. That's fitting, since she was absolutely intoxicating. Tawny passed away in 2021, but she will be sorely missed and forever remembered.
