You just have to say "molto bella" to Italian enchantress Tea Falco. Born in Catania, Sicily, the tall, beautiful blonde rose to become a household name when she got her big break playing Olivia in the Bernardo Bertolucci-directed film Me and You (2012). Original title Io e te, Tea not only got down to her bra and panties in the film, she also got a nomination for a Best Actress David at the David di Donatello Awards, the Italian equivalent of an Oscar. While the setting was a dirty, nasty basement bathroom in the film, she herself was a pleasant bit of scenery, and obviously struck a note with the Italian entertainment industry, as she’s been working steadily ever since. The babe did a couple more movies before being cast in the role of Bibi Mainaghi in the TV series 1992 in 2015, then reprised the role in the follow-up series, 1993 in 2017. (Confused by numbers yet? Sorry!) Tea then took on the role of Arianna in the big screen film There’s No Place Like Home (2018), a popular comedy romance that pulled in a David award for the director. In 2021, she returned to TV to star as Cristiana Sinagra in Maradona: Blessed Dream, as Fabricia Bianchi in the mini-series Il Pastore, and as Lucia in Pulp Sicily Stories in 2022. And just to prove she’s not just an acting ingenue, Tea also created a singing alter ego, Nea. And she’s an art photographer, who started exhibiting her work when she was 14.
