Sexy: Tura Satana Sexy Scenes, Pics & Videos
Birthplace: Hokkaido
Date of Birth: 07/10/1938
A burlesque dancer since her early teenage years, exotic, dark-haired Tura Satana was a natural to play strippers in films such as Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed? (1963) and Our Man Flint (1965). But this stunning damsel—nicknamed Miss Japan Beautiful in a nod to her birthplace—was offended by the artless go-go scene of the '60s. Fortunately, the same spy craze that spawned Flint meant a lot of work for a sexy dominatrix type who knew martial arts. Roles on TV shows like The Man From U.N.C.L.E., where she played Tomo in 1963; a Showgirl in 1963 in The Greatest Show on Earth; and the prettily named Peach Petal in Burke’s Law in 1964 soon led to the arresting actress’s defining role as the murderous Varla in director Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1966). She's been a fetish icon ever since, with many of her fans perfectly happy to offer adoration for her full figure in tight leather catsuits. But she also made two other films with sexy scenarios, a teasing turn in The Doll Squad (1973), in which Tura actually allowed a stunning look at her plump pretties with silver-clad pasties and a fringed bikini bottom. She also popped up in The Astro-Zombies in 1968, Mark of the Astro-Zombies in 2002, and Astro Zombies: M3 – Cloned in 2010, even coming out of retirement to work on the flicks. Sadly, Tura passed away in 2011 from heart failure at the age of 72. She will be greatly missed…every square inch we’ve been blessed enough to admire.
