Any actress whose first screen credit is a movie entitled Let’s Get Those English Girls (1976) is A-OK with Mr. Skin. That marks the debut of beautiful French brunette Véronique Delbourg, who played Claudie in the comedy romp about French schoolboys on the hunt for London lovin.’ The delectable dish made her skinematic debut shortly afterward in Boarding School (1978), a West Germany sexy comedy romp that starred not only the French Véronique, but a young Nastassja Kinski; the movie opens with an elongated close-up on one young, firm breast and tight nipple, belonging to the young ingenue (the camera eventually pans out to show the complete matching set). That same year, we get another quick glimpse at one of Véronique’s breasts during a handsy make-out sesh in the film L’amant de poche (1978), aka The Pocket Lover. But as Angélina in Peau d’ange (1986), or Skin of an Angel, she doesn’t show her breasts at all, opting for a long-sleeve, boxy shirt—and no pants. Yup, instead of going topless, she went bottomless, revealing a furry triangle of pleasure. In between all that, Véronique had a lot of roles, some quite serious, including that of Hortense de Beauharnais in the French TV mini-series Joséphine ou la comédie des ambitions (1979), translated as Josephine, or the comedy of ambitions; as Emilienne d’Alençon in the TV movie La nuit du general Boulanger(1982), or The night of General Boulanger; and a part in the documentary Cinématon (1984), a 151-hour long experimental film considered to be the longest film ever released.
