Those outside of Southeast Asia may not recognize this Chulalongkorn University graduate, but this Japan-born beauty is actually considered the “Queen of Alternative Pop”, especially in Thailand, where she first achieved fame after appearing on the reality television competition series The Voice Thailand. Inspired by Taylor Swift, Violette started building a career as an independent music artist while also kicking off her acting career in 2014 with a role in the thriller The Swimmers. She won acclaim for her performance in the following year’s film Heart Attack and spent 2019 as the lead character Min in the romantic series Endless Love.
