The wondrous whoppers of Wendy Winders graced the screens of drive-ins and grindhouses a hefty handful of times between 1970 and 1973, and every time they did we left the cineplex all wound up. A sexual sidewinder at home in the most sensual of skin flick, she got her start as the milky mammed Cookie in Girls' School Scandal (1969), but first bared boobs, butt, and bush in the skin-filled rednexpoloitation flick Tobacco Roody (1970). It's not much of a movie, since it mainly revolves around a bunch of stereotypical Southern hijinks, but we do get to see Wendy's Whoppers and backwoods bush as she lounges on the couch au naturale. Those are some nice cushions for the smooshin. Cool couch too. The next two years were filled with total nudity and softcore lesbian sex in titles like School Scandals (1970), and Herschel Gordon Lewis’s Miss Nymphet's Zap-In (1970), before she returned to the unique world of dumb rednecks having absurd amounts of sex with Southern Comforts (1971). It's the story of a beauty pageant out in the sticks that ends with all the contestants and organizers railing each other. Give them all a Miss Congeniality Award! This pageant includes all the women, including Wendy getting naked for the judges, pleasing each other in the hay, and having a giant orgy together. Forget Miss America's gaggle of opera singers and violinists, this is the finest collection of "talent" we've seen in any beauty pageant ever. Wendy moved on to Hollywood Babylon (1972), based on the book by Kenneth Anger but ended her career after playing a tennis pro in The Playmates (1973). Maybe she should have been called Skin-dy Skin-ders!
