Once upon a time in a medieval fantasy world ruled by a bird-worshipping religous order (headed by Richard E. Grant), a noblewoman named Cherry (Maika Monroe) is entered into an arranged marriage with the wealthy Jerome (Amir El-Masry) and pushed to produce an heir by her parents. Jerome, however, has no interest in consummating the marriage.
