Angela Sarafyan is a teenage runaway who makes a connection with a stripper and an illegal immigrant in the melodrama A Beautiful Life (2008). Maggie (Sarafyan) is living on the streets when David (Jesse Garcia) finds her sleeping in a dumpster behind the strip club where he and Esther (Bai Ling) work. David lets Maggie stay with him, and the two begin a relationship as they try to survive on the mean streets of Los Angeles.
A Beautiful Life is full of hardship (it’s called irony, people), but there’s a spoonful of T&A to sweeten the deal. Bai Ling returns to the stripper role she skinfamously played in Edmond (2005), and her noshable nipples make an appearance several times in the film. Also doing time on the pole is Latin nudecomer Gloria Alexandra, who bares her sin cushions as a stripper. Now that’s beautiful.
