After escaping a troubling and abusive past that has left her unable to have children, Hanna (Cecilie Lassen) has retreated to a secluded, rural area of west Denmark and joined a New Age Christian commune. She receives counseling to try and get past her trauma from the group’s leader, Kirsten (Ann Eleonora Jørgensen), and when Hanna’s brother Jakob (Jonas Holst Schmidt) shows up unnannounced, Kirsten invites him to stay and help build their new church in the hopes that his presence will be be therapetic for Hanna. But instead of helping her heal, Jakob is a disruption, testing Hanna’s faith and the beliefs of the community as a whole. As Hanna, nudecomer Cecilie isn’t so much losing her religion as she is losing her clothes! Apparently one of the philosophies of this church is that bathing is a group activity, so our first look at Cecilie in the buff is in a room full of other nudies.
