In Angels & Insects (1996), Victorian England is the setting where poor naturalist Mark Rylance is taken in by a wealthy family called the Alabasters. That's right, they're white! With the help of his assistant Kristin Scott Thomas, Mark loses himself in his studies of the insect world and slowly loses patience with the petty eccentricities of big, silly humans. But it isn't long before the bug man's head is turned once he sees the antennae on the family's beautiful daughter, played by hotsy-totsy Patsy Kensit.
