Beverly Hynds and her lovely hind star in Apocalypse and the Beauty Queen (2005), a direct-to-video tale of a model who loses her job just in time for the apocalypse. Bev feels like it's the end of the world when the fashion industry breaks it to her that she's now too old for the work (who knew modeling wasn't a lifetime gig? Not Bev, apparently). But when she returns, dejected, to her little hometown in sticksville, the world actually ends—and Bev is ready to rule the post-apocalyptic hellscape. Relying on her smarts and strength to lead the locals, Bev helps what's left of the world rebuild. Unfortunately that kind of power can go to a girl's head.
