Based on the life of adventurer and playwright Beaumarchais, it follows him through his misadventures where he finds himself involved in various romantic encounters as well as getting wrapped up in a revolution and caught in numerous questionable situations.

Along the way the lucky writer encounters a sexy young lass played by Florence Thomassin who is more than happy to share her delightful French pastries with him.
