Following on from the success of the original German Big Brother, this UK version changed the rules just slightly and subjected twelve contestants to take part in a Truman Show-esque game to see who could survive in one big shared camera-filled house. Unlike in other Big Brothers, instead of subjecting these guys to public votes, the contestants instead held an election to see who would get kicked out of the house.
