The gruesome Italian giallo film The Black Belly of the Tarantula (1972) follows inspector Giancarlo Giannini's skinvestigation of a serial killer known for offing his victims with a needle of poison in the neck. Instantly paralyzed by the poison, his pretty prey remains conscious when he rips open their belly with a knife. Booby Bond babes Claudine Auger, Barbara Bouchet, and Barbara Bach (yes, three Bond girls in one non-Bond film!) are in peril until the sex-kitten surrounded sleuth follows a trail leading to drug trafficking and sexual deviance.
