A violent, Canadian-made crime drama, Blazing Magnums (1976) lives up to its title both in the firearms brandished by the movie’s action stars and the natural weapons sported by starlets Carole Laure and Andrée St-Laurent. The movie also features Hollywood tough guys Stuart Whitman and Martin Landau. For French-fluent spitfire Carole, Magnums blazed right between her breakthrough in Sweet Movie (1974) and her signature performance in Get Out Your Handkerchiefs (1978). And she’s beautifully nude in all of them.
