The winter holidays can be such a tough time, particularly when your jeweler father is stabbed to death in his own store on Christmas Eve. Edgy, macho cop Brad Davis can hardly think to hang his stocking with his old man’s bloody death hanging over him in Cold Steel (1987). The supposedly random killing doesn’t sit right with Davis, and for good reason. The punks who offed Papa are no anonymous hoods. One of them is Davis’s ex-partner, and he blames Davis for all the woes that have befallen him. Well, the killer’s woes have just begun, because a raging, grieving son has vowed to break all the rules if that’s what it takes to avenge Daddy’s murder.
