Crónicas (2004) chronicles the steadfast work of Reporter Manolo Bonilla (John Lequizamo in his first Spanish speaking role) as he attempts to interview Vinicio Cepeda (Damián Alcázar) a prisoner in Ecuador whose hit-and-run accident incited a riot. Hoping to dig the scoop on a serial murderer known as the Monster of Babahoyo, Bonilla posts Cepeda’s bail in order for him to locate the burial ground of a young female victim. He finds what he was looking for and then some, realizing perhaps too late, that Cepeda was withholding some key details in his testimony. Leonor Watling is Leguizamo’s lady friend who looks sexy as hell in her skin-tight white top that teases her ample chest.
