De la calle (2001) is the heartbreaking story of fifteen-year-old Rufino, a homeless street kid in Mexico City. Rufino begins dealing drugs for a corrupt cop and tries to use the money to flee the city with his girlfriend, with the cop not far behind them. Rufino has a harder time leaving when he finds out his biological father is still alive. Maya Zapata gets topless in the role of Xóchitl.
