Such is the fate of the fifteen-year-old hero of Deep End (1970). Though little more than a boy, Mike suffers the torments of a grown man when he takes a job at an urban bathhouse and falls under the cruel sway of a redheaded temptress in the ripe fullness of her mid-twenties. The kid’s work-related obsession leads him to stalk his object of desire through London’s nastiest strip joints and fleshpots.
