Nude: Deutschfieber 1992 Nude Scenes

The historic demolition of the Berlin Wall has a profound impact on the citizens of a small German hamlet in the drama Deutschfieber (1992). Until November 1989 the residents of Friedheim led quiet and largely uneventful lives at the farthest reaches of West Germany. But when the wall is toppled and citizens from the GDR begin swarming from the East, the residents are faced with an onslaught of new activity and emotion. Director Niklaus Schilling captures the uncertainty and excitement of the historic event by following the actions of an intimate ensemble cast. While some lament the changes, female leads Christiane Paul and Heike Schroetter revel in the fervor by stripping down in jubilation.
