Larry (Peter Fonda) and Deke (Adam Roarke) are best friends who dream of making it in NASCAR and are willing to do anything to get there in Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974). The guys are a driver and mechanic team with talent and ambition, but lacking the money it takes to build a competitive car. They decide to rob a safe in a grocery store in order to fund their dream. The robbery goes fine, but the escape spins out of control when Larry’s one night stand Mary (Susan George) refuses to be left out of the deal.
