The Australian comedy Don's Party (1976) is set on the eve of the Australian elections in 1969 when bored couple Don and Kath Henderson (John Hargreaves and Jeanie Drynan) hold an election-night party for their friends. Things begin to get interesting when some of the guests' interest in drugs and sexual experimentation clashes with the sensibilities of the square couples at the party.
