Jessica Chastain and writer/director Michel Franco first teamed up for Memory (2023), and now they're together again for Dreams (2025), an equally harrowing drama. Chastain stars as Jennifer, a wealthy and influential socialite who becomes enamored with undocumented Mexican ballet dancer Fernando (Isaac Hernández), beginning a torrid affair with him that sees her risking everything, including her comfortable life with her old money husband Jake (Rupert Friend), to help Fernando make it across the border.
