Eine Lüge zuviel (1997) is a typical German crime drama starring Bernd Herzsprung (father of Hannah Herzsprung) as Harry Oswald, a happily married architect whose life gets turned upside down when he discovers the dead and butt-naked body of his lover, Britta (Alexandra Kamp), who also happens to be the wife of his best friend, Benno (Gerd Preusche). Not sure what actually caused Britta’s death, Harry only has two options: He can either confess his extramarital activities and go to the police or let the body disappear. Afraid of how his own wife, Marion (Gila von Weitershausen), and Benno may react, the architect opts to do the latter--which turns out to be harder than it seems.
