The parents depicted in Einladung zum Mord (2000), a German made-for-TV movie, attempt to screw over their daughter with a vengeance. The crop-topped moppet is blithely going about her business as a cuddly and delightful teenaged chick becoming more succulent with each passing day in her native Capetown, South Africa, when the path to well-adjusted adulthood veers abruptly into Jerry Springer melodrama.
