Is it hot in here, or is it just us? Long before Nicholas Cage drove angrily out of Hell, there was John Jaspers (Mark Frost), an artist who sells his soul to the Devil and the hero of Faust: Love of the Damned (2000). John manages to escape Satan's slimy claws and return to earth, but there's just one problem-- their little agreement has turned him into a horned demon with an insatiable bloodlust. Whoops.
Speaking of lust, one of the more enjoyable aspects of this thoroughly over-the-top film is the gratuitous nudity, which includes nip slips from Isabel Brook and topless blood-licking and throat-slashing from the diabolically hot Monica van Campen, who gets her comeuppance in the form of death by cartoonishly inflated boobage 45 minutes in.
