Director Molly McGlynn uses her real-life experiences as someone living with MRKH syndrome to tell the story of a teen named Lindy (Maddie Ziegler). During a routine doctor’s visit, Lindy is diagnosed with the aforementioned affliction, meaning she has no uterus, and instead has a barely-there vaginal cavity. Obviously, this spoils her upcoming plans to lose her virginity to her boyfriend Adam (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), but it also changes her perspective on her own womanhood, her identity, and even her sexuality.
