Friday Night Lights (2004) is based on the book by H.G. Bissinger and is the story of the town of Odessa's obsession with football. But that's like saying The Odyssey is about a boat trip. The book, and this movie made faithfully from it, is epic and emotionally wrenching. It’s possibly the best sports movie ever made, and Mr. Skin isn't just saying that because Amber Heard has a frenzied make-out session on the couch with her man where her mams get exposed. Though, frankly, it doesn't hurt.
