Like a Pinoy version of In the Company of Men (1997), Gamitan (2002) charts the fallout that occurs when a popular basketball star (Wendell Ramos) dates an introverted freshman (Maui Taylor) for a prank. After losing her virginity to the conniving upper-classman, the girl plots with her older sister (Patricia Javier) to get back at him. Taylor admitted later that a voice double had been used to dub in dialogue during post-production, but it’s obvious that the starlet’s revealing sex scenes are all her own. Javier gets in on the action too, showing her character’s younger sister how the big girls flaunt it.
