The story of a wrongfully convicted social outcast returning to his homeland after suffering exile and imprisonment for a crime he did not commit never goes out of style. Swarthy actor Joaquin Cortes is seething and sympathetic as a gypsy musician who sets about righting wrongs after being released from prison in the Spanish production Gitano (2000). Stylish and atmospheric, with beautiful photography and a stirring soundtrack, Gitano is also true to the concerns of a recently paroled male. The picture features three separate sex scenes, two of them quite extended, all three fully satisfactory, none with the same gorgeous woman twice.
