Nude: Goya in Bordeaux 1999 Nude Scenes

Any movie about a painter worth their brushes is going to have nudity, and Goya in Bordeaux (1999) is worth the brush, the palette and the whole stretched canvas. It’s a biopic of the famous artist, Francisco Goya, of course, who, deaf and ill, lives the last years of his life in voluntary exile in Bordeaux, protesting the oppressive rule of Ferdinand VII. He has a much younger wife, played by Eulalia Ramon, and continues to paint. Through flashbacks, we learn of his relationship with the Duchess of Alba, played by Maribel Verdu. And that’s where the rubber meets the road, as painters tend not to say, for Maribel is completely naked posing for Goya, and for us.
