In the revenge thriller Handgun (1983), Boston-born babe Kathleen (Karen Young) is an idealistic high school history teacher that’s good with the kids but bad with men. When a fellow teacher sets up the awkward educator on a date with Larry (Clayton Day), a gun-obsessed, handsome lawyer, Kathleen begins to warm up to the whole dating thing. Although the dates go well, Larry wants some action but Kathleen wants to take it slow. On their next date, the lecherous lawyer gives Kathleen a closer look at his gun collection, speeding up their sexual contact. The forsaken femme buys a firearm, becomes a sure shot, and seeks revenge for Larry’s intrusive indiscretions.
