Teenager Joe Reinhardt (Kostja Ullmann) and thirty-something Rosemarie Elling (Marie Bäumer) maintain a relationship that scandalizes their families and friends. Divided by age and social conventions, the couple remains devoted to each other despite long odds and even manages to scrounge up the time for some super-secret boffing.
