Held for Ransom (2000) is a thriller about five spoiled high-school students who are kidnapped and held for...you guessed it! Ransom. They’re held in a remote swamp, but why? Don’t ask questions. That only ruins the movie experience. Certainly, the director, screenwriter and actors never asked any of these pertinent questions. The movie stars Dennis Hopper as a psycho bad guy, and features cameos from hot former night-soap stars Morgan Fairchild and Joan van Ark. That’s about the best we can say about this movie. For no one, not our sexy soap queens or even Hopper get naked.
