Thirty years earlier, someone went on a killing spree at the Cold River Motel, an event that was eventually dubbed the “Satanic Mass Murder.” Afterwards the motel fell into disrepair, even becoming the setting of a horror film franchise called Doomed Service. But in the present day, new owners Portia (Michelle Nolden) and Ruby (Brynn Godenir) have renovated it in a way that specifically caters to the true crime-obsessed, and now ten such fanatics have arrived for the motel’s inaugural weekend. There’s a podcaster who’s also a slasher survivor, an artist, a researcher, a spiritualist, even one of the actresses from the Doomed Service films. And wouldn’t ya know it - an animal skull-masked maniac also shows up and starts offing them one by one. You would think these folks would be well acquainted with the rules of horror and would know better than to undress, but dark-haired beauty Genevieve DeGraves still tempts fate by taking off her shirt and revealing her red bra before jumping into bed with her handcuffed mate.
