That's the cultural climate from which emerged House Party (1990), starring hip-hop duo Kid n' Play (nee Christopher Reid and Christopher Martin) as best friends determined to throw the party of the decade when Play's parents go out of town for the weekend. Mr. Skin understands (the urge to party is a universal one), but he wishes that these flat-topped jokesters had taken a cue from Animal House and invited some topless babes to the shindig.
