An introverted banker leaves familiar life behind after meeting a gorgeous socialite in the German television production Ich liebe eine Hure (1998). Uwe Bohm stars as Martin Korte, a neurotic family man so smitten by Alexandra Kamp--the occupant of a glorious country villa--that he bucks responsibility to be with her. As his family and jealous locals begin to swarm around him, Korte clings desperately to the possibility of true love.
