Never short-change a cop is the moral of Illegal in Blue (1995). When black and delicious Stacey Dash skips out of a taxi without paying the fare, how was she to know the cabby was an off-duty cop moonlighting for extra cash? If she’d paid her proper due, the flatfoot might not have followed her into the nightclub where she sings. Stacey might have been able to keep secret her role in the murder of her sleazy husband, and she would have avoided luring the cop over to her side with the temptation of her taut, tawny flesh and pop-up, dark-chocolate nipples. But then Illegal in Blue wouldn’t have been half the movie it is.
