Manhattanites Lyle (Chris Parnell) and Holly (Cara Buono) have been in a loyal, milquetoast marriage for almost thirty years, until Holly finds out she has a terminal disease and is not long for this world. She decides she wants to spend her remaining time exploring polyamory, specifically getting high and getting it on with her semi-retired rock star neighbor Hoyt (Dennis Haysbert). Despite his jealousy, Lyle gives her what she wants and may even open himself up to a possible relationship with Holly’s best friend Ethel (Illeana Douglas), but Lyle and Holly’s newfound relationship status doesn’t sit well with their blue-haired, Gen Z daughter Greta (Willow Shields). She’s got her own stuff going on though, like getting nude for an art show. Though we get shots of Willow stripping down from different angles, once the bra and undies come off the closest we get to seeing the goods is a distant look at her covering up her best bits with both hands. She also elects to keep her socks on (sorry feet fans!)
