Hearing-impaired painter Jane (Marlee Matlin) meets attorney Andrew (Michael Dudikoff) in front of one of her works on display in a museum. Jane is married to an abusive creep (Doug Sutherland), while Andrew is involved with Debra (Sophie Lorain), another lawyer. When Sutherland turns up murdered and Jane is accused of the crime, Andrew takes her case while Debra works for the prosecution. Amidst all the courtroom drama, Marlee's topless sex scenes will have you banging your own gavel.
