The 2025 Argentine Netflix original series In the Mud comes to us from El Marginal creator Sebastián Ortega, covering one of our favorite of all genres: Women in Prison! A group of prisoners is being transported when a group attacks their van to break one of the prisoners out before sending the van into the water! When the intrepid Gladys Guerra (Ana Garibaldi) manages to save herself and five other prisoners from drowning, with the ladies coming together to form a new gang under Gladys' leadership. As they find themselves rising up the food chain in the prison, they'll also encounter threats from all sides which will only strengthen their bond!
